The T Room is the creation of Simon Parrott & Lisa Kortenhorst.

They met by chance in Berlin, April 2008 and it was a random meeting to say the least. Together they spent a lot of time in their home cities of London and Amsterdam, and during this time the idea for The T Room was born.

Simon & Lisa both wanted to try something different with there lives. Lisa had just returned from traveling and was “at a loose end” while Simon was desperate to leave the rat race of London’s city life as a salesman behind him. Lisa is professional photographer and Simon loves a cup of tea with a good cake.

One night these two loves collided, and the result was The T Room, the location is Berlin.

Traditional English High tea served in a relaxed environment of both English and Dutch cultures. This coupled with a cellar gallery of art being shown in an informal way, giving young and upcoming artists a platform for their work.
